Our asparagus season closes on Memorial Day, May 31 this year. The weather continued to fool us over and over, with one week in May of frost every day!
We were able to pick for only about 3 weeks, but the asparagus still tasted great and many have enjoyed it. Thank you for your continued support!
Our changing and unpredictable weather fooled us many times this spring. During the warm weather we experienced in early April, we were sure we would be picking asparagus earlier than usual (usual being the last week of April). Well, we picked our very first few spears today, April 28 -
not an early picking at all! It takes a few days for the patch to produce enough to package and sell, but I'm thinking this weekend (May 1 or 2) we will have asparagus for you to enjoy.
Watch for an email if you are on our list already.

Picked or U-Pick Fruit
We grow several mid-season to late-season apple varieties. Reds and yellows. Some for cooking, some for sauce, some good for storing. ALL GOOD TO EAT FRESH !
